So, the reason I'm writing is because I think it is a form of appreciation. I think that as kind of a driving philosophy, all people desire appreciation, either from others, themselves, or some abstract concept like religion.
Reading this is a form of appreciation. I'll probably be reading it in the future too, so it's not just for others.
About me, well, I just had to write a speech about that. I spoke about how I rarely went to school as a child, how I did well on placement tests so I wouldn't be held back, and how when I went to high school I slid by.
I used to be a very religious person, but when I went to a Catholic high school I learned enough about it to change my mind. This took a lot of steam out of my education, and I didn't learn as much as I would have if I was religiously motivated. I'll probably explain it later.
By junior year I realized that I needed grades, so I suddenly pulled out a wicked GPA and found myself at a small, unheard of liberal arts college. It turned out for the best because it allowed me to study whatever I wished.
I began studying international politics like it was the only thing out there. I did Model U.N., and was exceptional at it. As of now, I'm a solid source on anything that I've studied, and I can explain it publicly like it's no problem.
I also began studying China and enrolled in Mandarin courses. I emphasize studying China in my curriculum. That's what I write about in my thesis papers.
This is kind of dull. I'll add more interesting things later.
